Join CISS in an intimate discussion with the nationally-renowned military expert Chris Kolenda, author of Zero-Sum Victory: What We’re Getting Wrong About War. Dr. Kolenda is the first American to have both fought the Taliban as a commander in combat and negotiated with them in peace talks. He will share his insights into the key military missteps of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, as well as his predictions as to future Taliban behavior.
Dr. Kolenda is a graduate of West Point, as well as a retired Army Colonel. He has paved his way in international military strategy as an entrepeneur by assisting his clients to implement military and history lessons in business. His work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, The New York Times, as well as having appeared on CCNN, MSNBC, CBS, BBC, and NPR. Some of his many books include Leadership: The Warrior's Art, and Zero-Sum Victory: What We're Getting Wrong About War.
