The second annual Princeton University - University of Tokyo workshop took place on June 5-6, 2023. Professor John Ikenberry and Professor Kiichi Fujiwara co-hosted the workshop at the University of Tokyo and it was a great success.

 We had nine Princeton young scholars in our delegation – six PhD students (Politics and SPIA) and three alums.  Professor Fujiwara recruited about ten faculty, most from the U of Tokyo to serve as discussants.

Our grad students thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and profited from the feedback.  Some presented their dissertation research and others presented stand-alone papers.  Each paper had two discussants.

We are looking forward to continuing this annual event next Spring.
